I wonder what platform this will end up on. Perhaps ESPN since there is some relationship with Top Rank? Maybe that's why TR didn't bother to submit a bid?
Good grief Trilla 2.0. I highly doubt they are able to put together a fight of this magnitude together in 90 days. If there were ever a time for Al Bob and Spatulas team up and start their own boxing league with their own belts and no sanctioning bodies.
“Per purse bid rules, Zepeda and Prograis will evenly split 90 percent of the winning bid, guaranteeing a payday of $1,080,000 for each fighter. The remaining ten percent of the winning bid—$240,000—will be placed in escrow as a win bonus.”
Who are these guys MarvNation Promotions? Hope I'm wrong and this fight actually happens but this giving me Triller vibes. But reading the article and seeing how they basically doubled the offer from both fighters promoters who work with PBC and ESPN with that large a guaranteed purse they have to pay both fighters I think this fight is going to PPV.

Damn right it's going PPV. Fite.tv or Thrilla or something. This should be non Ppv on Espn or Showtime. It takes a whole lot to put on event like this. I like both fighters but nither one has a big enough traveling fan base to make it successful. Will probably end up on Pbc Showtime at the end of the day.
