Usyk is a MUCH better fighter than Wilder, so anyone using Wilder as an example of how a Fury vs Usyk fight would play out is seriously miscalculating the situation. You guys are going to see the problems that Usyk creates for Fury. Usyk isn’t an uncoordinated moving robot like Wilder and he’s a much more intelligent fighter. Fury’s best opportunity to win might be early in the fight. Just make it a street fight from the very first round. BUT if he can’t take out Usyk early and he is unable to hurt him significantly, Usyk will beat up Fury down the stretch and he can definitely stop Fury. You can bet Fury will come into this fight prepared to the best of his ability. His fans might think this is an easy fight but Fury and his trainers know that this would be the toughest, trickiest fight of his career. What an embarrassment it would be for the self-proclaimed greatest heavyweight to get beat by a mere middleweight, right? Watch how the boxing fans experience another major paradigm shift after this fight, just as they have many times throughout the history of the sport.

Let us not forget; Steve Cunningham dropped Fury in 2013. Usyk will present a lot of problems for Fury, no doubt. I'd still favor Fury by about a 70/30 margin tho. Purely because of the size advantage.

But if Usyk were to pull it off, he'd have to be rated amongst the all time p4p greats.

As for Hopkins, I don't remember him avoiding any fight. So I always liked him. I like boxers who take the hard fights.

I'm pretty sure if Anthony Joshua kept "retiring" or had a PED ban or was fighting people like Tom Schwarz you would be calling him some pretty choice names. Just admit you don't follow facts at all really.

Well, you called me a fan boy so I just corrected that. If you have changed your mind, then good on you. I don’t call AJ any negative name despite knowing Usyk would beat him again. I’m also betting Wilder and Fury will both KO him if he fought them.
I’m still not going to call him any name.

Fury “retiring” is just part of his shenanigans. Nobody takes him seriously and we are right. Fury-Usyk will happen.

Fury fought Wilder and beat him up. Wilder was the face of American HW (and on some scale, global too). So Fury is now the top HW on the planet. He will beat Usyk, Joyce and AJ. What next? Do you still dislike him?

The PED thing I don’t know details about it. If he did cheat, then he’s a dirtbag and should be punished. But he is the top HW with or without PED

That's my point you are happy to put up with Fury and his TWO title defenses but if Wilder or Joshua had Two title defenses and kept retiring to avoid more, I think you you would have something to say about that I can't be bothered to look it up but I'm sure Joshua has around 8 defenses and Wilder has at least 9. These are facts like you wanted.

Also Fury - has fought TWO top-10 fighters (probably really top-20 fighters because Wallin was outside the top-20 at the time) in 6 years. More facts for you

As for Wilder and Fury beating AJ - Yes they could well do! But who cares if they aren't going to fight??? I don't really care anymore listening to Fury talk about who he is going to beat if he ever fights them. Fury already trying to avoid the AJ fight with his 60/40 split talk and Wilder has now said twice he has turned down AJ fights. It's too late for Fury for me but if Wilder starts taking all the big fights now I will be a fan of his anyday. I couldn't care less if he wins all of them or not.

This is why I stopped supporting Fury. Talks a lot and doesn't do much. AJ has been there to fight for years - he could have fought him years ago,

Usyk is a tricky boxer, fury won’t be able to just pin him down to lean on him like he thinks he will

This is what a good trainers does. He doesn’t let the fighter grow complacent and buy into the fanboy rhetoric.

This would be a great fight and a lot of credit would go towards both fighters if they make it happen. Nowadays you gotta give credit to the two best fighters of a weight class fighting eachother because it doesn’t happen too often. It takes a miracle.
