Wlad was the champion. It was a contracted rematch - there is no way out of it - unless you retire and come back a few years later.... ALSO Fury kept saying Wlad would never take the rematch and then Wlad did... and Fury promptly retired (+served a PED ban at the same time)
Fury signed up to AJ *knowing* he was contracted to Wilder. You are Fury's dream fan. You give him all your money for not doing much. I still find it funny he only has 2 title defences and is almost retired.Comment

First, I am not a Fury hater but let's be real. His best win was against Wlad, who was what...39? Then he balked at the rematch and lost his marbles. Comes back and draws with wilder, then fights him twice. Wilder had him dead to rights in all of those fights. Gets smashed up by Wallin and beats an easy Whyte. He was also knocked down by CW Cunningham.
Usyk will have him spinning around in circles trying to catch him. He is slower and has less power than AJ. AJ was what...250? So size is not a huge factor compared to AJ.Comment

I can count how many times the Gypsy King been beat ZERO. I believe you are 0 & 3 with your expertise. Bet opposite of 1hourBum and you will win moneyComment

no it's a 50/50 fightEasier fight for Usyk than Joshua was. People will be shocked at how easily Usyk handles the big, clumsy dosser and makes him look foolish. Fury's resume is highly suspect, and that will be his downfall. He should have lost to Otto Wallin, who opened a huge cut on him with a punch and was knocking him from pillar to post in the final round;Last edited by MoneyKasha; 08-30-2022, 09:45 PM.Comment

"Wilder had him dead to rights" wilder literally won 3 rounds out of 30 rounds or something against FuryFirst, I am not a Fury hater but let's be real. For the record, I thought Wlad would beat him and I was sure Wilder would KO him that I put money on it.
Fury proved me wrong. Unlike you, I will change my mind when confronted with facts. I will change my mind if a specific boxer turns out to be actually legit.
I used to loathe B-Hop because at 160, he was beating on small guys. In fact, Hopkins got a huge platform after beating two WW (Tito and Oscar) but he proved his mettle by beating legit guys at 175 so I don’t dislike him anymore.
You on the other hand just assumes anyone who disagrees with you or likes a specific boxer to be a fanboy.
But, we all love mythical matchups - do you think if Wlad-Fury II happened, Fury would lose? I don’t think so.
Do you think if AJ-Fury happened that AJ had a shot at beating Fury? I don’t think so. So those aren’t arguments to be made.

What do you mean : "unlike you"? When have I not changed my mind when confronted with facts? I am an ex-Tyson Fury fan for a reason.———-

As for Hopkins, I don't remember him avoiding any fight. So I always liked him. I like boxers who take the hard fights.
I'm pretty sure if Anthony Joshua kept "retiring" or had a PED ban or was fighting people like Tom Schwarz you would be calling him some pretty choice names. Just admit you don't follow facts at all really.Last edited by Roberto Vasquez; 09-04-2022, 10:44 AM.Comment
