GGG's punches did not slow as much as Canelo's head movement as it's a whole body rotation. Canelo's head movement has been minimized since the Danny Jacobs fight. He has moved gradually toward the high guard like most aging fighters. Tyson's head movement was gone by 30.
My guess is all the dipp/ dive motion has taken the toll on the back. these movements are very straining compared to simply throwing a punch.
