look at what started this thread ... Mayweather doesn't weigh in on the pre fight night scale and all this speculation

bolded is what i agree with .. I could see Floyd being in the mid to low 150s, but don't you think being above say 158 he'd lose speed?

granted he has spent 2 years out of the ring, but I'd be very surprised if he was 160 fight night

simply because, could he really move like that, and be 160? if so more power to him

but 150 is pretty heavy for Floyd, and layoff or not I'd be surprised if he was above 158.

of course it is possible, but we dunno since Floyd didn't weigh in.

Any truth to that? I mean i don't know if that is even possible considering he was 146 at weighing, but who knows. I will say that if JMM was 148 last night than i got to say that Mayweather looked at least 10 pounds heavier.

That's possible. Floyd looked extremely fast in 24/7. In fact faster on the speedbag than anyone I ever saw. It's also possible that JMM was so slow that Floyd looked like greased lightning.

He's naturally sublimely quick.

It just goes to show you he's at his prime now as a full fledged welterweight.

And he comes in right around the limit.
