  • JMM was 148 and Mayweather was 152. JMM started at 126 and Floyd started at 130. JMM weighed in at 142 while Floyd weighed in 146

4 pounds difference. How on earth did Floyd put on 10 pounds. Show me a fight where he has rehydrated 10 pounds.

Why do you reckon Floyd refused HBO's unofficial scaling on fight-night?

I wonder if anyone on Floyd's team reads these boards or they were just being ornery not weighing in unofficially for fight night weight.

Otherwise we'd get the famous Flawless screenshot of fight night weights.

        For now it's just a ????

        verus 148.

This is the first time Floyd didn't want an unofficial weight. What is wrong with that. Hatton didn't want to do it against Floyd. Oscar said no against Floyd. Cotto hasn't had one since Urkal fight.

Yet its wrong for Floyd to say NO

Nobody says it's wrong. It's just odd as he has never refused to do it before. Why do you think he refused yesterday when he fought a lightweight?

Nothing is wrong with that at all. The only thing that matters is what they weigh in at and what they agree to in the contract.

It's conjecture to say with any degree of accuracy what he weighed though if an unbiased third party didn't weight him.

Almost two years ago isn't good enough for me. People's bodies change, etc.

It is perfectly within his right not to be weighed if paid the appropriate penalties for going over 144 as a stipulation of the contract.
