It was neither the 11th or the 12th round because the fight was only scheduled for 10....

My bad. I meant the last two rounds. So it was the 9th round then. And the 10th round was a swing round. And up until the cut, which was in the 6th round, I believe.

          Thank you for the info.

Do you know why they have been banned?

Yeah. It's due to a particular fight where both boxers were using Fly and suffered severe injuries to their hands. This is what Suleiman stated:
"The considerable wear and shape change and immunization of padding, which occurred radically changed their shape. It is a matter of great concern and gravity, as well as the lack of support those particular gloves offered, causing considerable pain and injuries to the hands. Also their rapid fading discoloration during the bouts."

So that's why they are banned.

Wouldn't mind seeing these two again in a fight. Both guys were trying to win and there was ebb and flow in that fight. A draw seem to fit because a lot of rounds were so close.

I'm not sure. I haven't used their gloves before. Not even the training gloves, so it's hard for me to say. But from people who have used them, they say that they are very comfortable. When I hear "very comfortable," that means to me that they don't cut off the circulation. The gloves look compact too, so they might give better pop in the ring (smaller punching surface) than some other gloves, but I'm just assuming. They have two types, one with horsehair and the other with four layers of foam, which is more protective. So I'm not sure what Commey was using. Probably the horsehair gloves.

                    That's all I can say.
