Comments Thread For: Jared Anderson: I Would Love To Fight Filip Hrgovic; Looking To Get Bigger Names

Jared Anderson wants to fight Filip Hrgovic next, but Anderson realizes that might not be a realistic option. The hard-hitting Anderson believes he is ready to knock off an undefeated heavyweight contender like Hrgovic in his next bout. He just isn't sure that Hrgovic would want to risk his top spot now that the Croatian contender has edged previously unbeaten Chinese veteran Zhang Zhilei in an IBF elimination match.

He certainly could beat Zhang and Hrgovic, but it wouldn't be as easy as the tomato cans that he's been in with. It would be a step up for sure.

He has to sharpen his defence a bit, but so far pretty impressive. We don't know how good his chin is, but it'll be tested.

Jared is an exceptional talent but he got hit clean with dumb shots with defensive lapses and we are tired of him fighting all these slow stiffs from Europe, I'd rather he fight a tuff brother from the states without equal talent but tuffness to see where he really is at.

Jared vs efe, or yoka Then move up if win. Hrgovic vs frank sanchez both in contender status. Fury will be busy vs usyk then ngannou for the payday and lower risk under boxing rules. In the mean time hrgovic vs sanchez that winner gets parker vs joyce. Wilder can do helenius get confidence back then whyte (havent fought before). Aj can fight hughie fury then ruiz vs ortiz winner then wilder for an open belt say wbc theyll strip when fury fights ngannou instead of a boxer & wilder vs Aj brings name n $ knowing fury retires after the ngannou fight

The cream of the division are euro fighters Fury, Usyk... even when it comes to contenders...Most "tuff brother" HW from the states are average at best except Wilder.

He should step up and fight the best euro contenders Hrgovic, Dubois, Joyce, Yoka, not those US friday night fights dudes from US that you are talking about.

Stay busy & up the level of competition. Fight the next way of HWs with similar experience or at the very least Wach, Hammer or Forrest…
