Read the beginning of the article on the fight, then Boxing Scene started to review the fight backwards again. Do you guys watch the fight backwards starting with round 10 down to round 1 ???? Do you read a book from the end of the the last page to the first page. You reviewing a fight backwards does not make any sense.

He did beautiful body work, right from the beginning, and it paid off! He just didn't step on the gas earlier! Would love to see Ryan Garcia vs. Jose Pedraza @ 140!
The body punches that Pedraza was landing throughout the fight were causing Commey's muscles to cramp up.
Pedraza's safety first, or good Samaritan fighting style has caused him 5 extra knockout, and a win in this particular fight.
I don't know if he just doesn't want to hurt his opponent any more than he has to, or he's concerned about getting caught by a desperation shot.
He reminds me of the fisherman who has lost his catch just before he's able to bring it on board, it's frustrating as hell to me.
It also bothered me that Commey's corner kept on imploring him to fight on by rubbing his children in his face so to speak (do it for your son, and daughter).
At that point in the fight Commey was hurting badly, and looked to me like he didn't even want to go out their for the 10th round, this is how fighters get seriously hurt.
At the end of the day they both dodged a bullet, which is a good thing because they are both very good fighters, and more importantly they're both class act's.Wacked_Out likes this.

Pedraza was scared of getting clipped
I think the beating he’s taken from Ramirez as of late and from Loma have made him timid
If this is the case , I can only assume , that’s how a fighter gets hurt
He doesn’t look sure of himself about jumping on his opponent
That seemed to be the case yesterday
I thought it was brilliant and easy to see that Comney had problems dealing with the southpaw stance

NSB: "Commey won that!"
Yet...
Pedraza landed more power punches (134-of-291 to 130-of-377) and more jabs (31-of-205 to 19-of-307), according to CompuBox.
So what's changed?

Commey was also having trouble with those wicked body punches that he was absorbing all fight long.
Thunderous shots to the body , must have taken a toll on Comney , not just the cut
Everybody Just blaming the cut for him slowing down

What was more debilitating for Commey were those body punches, which made him forget about the cut to a certain extent.
If only Pedraza could find it within himself to put the pedal to the metal when he has his opponents hurt he'd be more of a lethal sniper.
Instead of being a one shot one kill type of sniper, he's more of one shot one wound type of a sniper.
The objective of a sniper is to take you out with one shot, then you've got to keep it moving because that spot has been compromised.
