lmao at people blasting floyd for not being able to KO jmm

who the **** CAN knock marquez out? maybe shane mosley, MAYBE!

alot of you guys that think you know your **** say the dumbest things when you hate some one. mayweather could have knocked him down 5 times and jmm would have gotten back up with his brain and heart running full blast. and how about the fact that marquez is a skilled veteran with a **** load of ring IQ? did you guys not catch how he was picking alot of floyds shots even though he caught alot in the face? hes no ricky hatton no matter if he fought at welterweight but yet you guys try and belittle floyd for not knocking him out. if mayweather would have oppened up to try harder to get the knock out, jmm would land some of his precision punches and maybe even steal a few rounds and floyd would not look as dominant and it would have been of no use, because marquez would still finish all 12 on his feet. FLOYD HAD TO COMPLETELY DOMINATE THIS FIGHT! floyd had to fight with his style, his style dominates. you can say that pacquiao knocked marquez down 4 times or that he touched jmm up more but there are questions over who won in both of those fights...are there any questions in this one?

light weight or not, the size difference was there but it was no david and goliath...and you all forget it was juan manuel marquez.

look at what all the hate has brought...a floyd fan having to remind jmm fans what their boy is all about.

exactly....on thursday, when Floyd said he was going in there to 'seek and destroy' or in one of the 24/7 episodes when he said anything less than a KO would be a failure, what he REALLY meant was he was gonna jab a pudgy midget for 12 rounds

Cosign and and Marquez is taller and rangier then Pacquiao and at 130 pacquiao was coming as high as 144/145 but there`s no out rage about weight.

Mayweather could have KOed Marquez at will or at least gotten to a point where the ref would have no choice but to stop it. Instead he poked and prodded a helpless Marquez who was physically incapable of doing anything to him.

            I completely agree with you.

Marquez demonstrated his great ability to adjust to what his opponent brings him. He wasnt like Hatton who would run into the straight right every round without adjusting.

Marquez didnt make any excuses. He gave Floyd his due and he said he did his absolute best in there. There is no shame in that. He is a warrior and he deserves respect.

He had everything going against him. Jumping up 2 weight classes at age 36 to challenge the most diciplined and complete fighter he could have faced. He knew he was taking a risk and he was willing to go for it.

Mayweather had absolutely every advantage he could have. He fought a fantastic ****in fight but he doesnt deserve all the praise in the world. Fight some dudes your size now. Enough is enough with fighting blown up lightweights.

Welterweights can knock Marquez out, which Mayweather is. He was able to land anything he wanted on Marquez. All Marquez's boxing IQ and technical ability was useless, he had no speed, no power, and no reflexes to execute what he needed to. Mayweather laughed off a decent Marquez shot in the 2nd and proceeded to drop Marquez seconds later. At the very least he could have forced a stoppage, and I doubt at that high a weight Marquez had the stamina to deal with hitting the canvas multiple times like he did at much lower weights.

People still seem to be under the false impression JMM was anything close to the same fighter he was at 126 or 130.

My opinion is Floyd would've ended it sooner had he not wanted to give the fans their money's worth.

Marquez appeared unable to figure Floyd out after the first knock down.

Floyd gave Juan every opportunity to turn up the heat to make it more exciting, but Juan opted to play it cautiously.

I have no doubt that if Juan really went after Floyd and made Floyd work, it would've been more exciting and he may have ended up on the canvas more than a few times, if not cleanly knocked out.
