pacquiao is a southpaw and is as fast if not faster than floyd. plus he is relentless. yeah he'll eat a lot of counters but floyd will get touched up more than he's used to as well.

we'll have to see pac-cotto first. if pac doesn't have the power to ko cotto , then he definitely can't hurt floyd and no point in pac-pbf happening.

Pacquiao's speed and southpaw stance will definitely trouble Floyd.

I give Manny more of a chance with his recent work in the head movement area ; he's pretty damn Tyson-like with it at times, and that may help him avoid a plethora of Mayweather counters.

I've got Pacquiao to TKO Cotto in the 9th. Based mainly on accumulation more than anything.

i didn't vote because i don't know if mayweather could make 145 anymore. but if mayweather will allow to weight just like the marquez fight i think i have to go to pbf because of the size advantage.. there will be like 15-20lbs difference in fightnight. mayweather will just laugh the punches that pacquiao will throw at him. im starting to think that pbf is almost as big as cotto.

Mayweather is very fast boxer with a very tight defense and technique. Manny is a very fast puncher with quick attacks but he cant do that without compromising form and leaving himself open to counters.


I think Mayweather wins easily. If Marquez was able to think ahead of Pac and control his agression by making him pay BIG when he stepped in, the Mayweather would have an easier time doing it.

Marquez has a much more varied attack than Manny. He has a jab, uppercuts, a straight right, hooks, you name it, Marquez knows how to throw it. Manny is basically a jab-straight left fighter who can land right hooks on opponents who dont have the defense to avoid them.

Mayweather was stopping Marquez counters that he used to pepper Pacman with all the time in their 2 fights. With all his experience, intelligence, heart, and determination he was still no match for mayweather.

Pacman is in deep **** if he ever takes this fight. I hope Cotto beats him so he and Marquez can settle their score at 140 so the real welterweights can fight eachother. 1 shrimp down. 1 more to go.

It's a toss up, Both are fast, Mayweather has better D, Pacquiao throws a lot and will make Floyd fight and really test him.
