I don't even know how any Pacfan could say Floyd's shots won't hurt him.

Manny's chin hasn't been cracked hard since Marquez got him with that hook in their rematch at 130lbs.

David Diaz, Oscar De La Hoya, and Ricky Hatton all failed to land anything significant on him.

I don't understand how anyone can use the fight against Marquez as a basis for any prediction of Floyd destroying Pacquiao. Pac would have knocked that Marquez out within 6, which Floyd could and should have but decided to be a punk and not do. Pac has speed, Pac has power, and Pac has fought just as good a counter puncher as Floyd in a 126 and 130 pound Marquez.

Floyd-Pac is a 50-50 fight and I think Pac would win.

          lets put it like this....

Mayweather fought only 1 true welterweight Zab Judah who was beating Mayweathers ass the first half of the fight until he got winded. Hatton is a true Jr Welterweight, de La Hoya is middle weight in the end.

Pac has fought Oscar in the highest weight class he has ever been in ( same as Floyd ) BUT with huge different outcomes, Hatton fought Pac at his BEST weight class and still got his ass wooped!

Floyd fight smaller guys with exception to De La Hoya and Pacquiao fights bigger guys PERIOD! and Pac beats people up Mayweather just wins by points

Marquez fought Pac at 130 I mean thats 16 lbs lighter than what Mayweather walked in for the weigh in COME ON!

I cant beleive what im reading here..Floyd came back from a 2 year lay off and toyed with JMM. At one point I even felt bad becuase JMM was trying his best but Floyd was just doing what ever he wanted..he didnt even look winded at the end of the fight. And now people want to say that JMM is over his prime?..come on lets not take away from PBF's performance last night. If Floyd wanted to he could of KO'ed JMM at any point in the fight. But thats not his style he is a defensive style fighter.

Really? What excuses?? Who in their right mind thought JMM had a chance to win last night??? Seriously...

Last night's mismatch wasnt about competition but how well PBF would do since his 2 year hiatus..

In my mind, with all the advantages, PBF fell well short of what he himself wanted to do against JMM... In 24/7 he said "anything short of a KO, he would consider a failure"... So he thinks last night was a failure... I didnt say it, PBF did....

Floyd just fought the same Marquez that Pacquiao almost lost to. Mayweather may not have been exciting last night, but he totally dominated Marquez and basically toyed with him.

Marquez was competitive with Pacquiao in both fights and there are more than a few people that believe Marquez actually BEAT Pacman.

With that said, Marquez wasn't REMOTELY competitive with Mayweather. That doesn't bode well for Pacquiao. If Marquez was able to hold the technical advantage over Pacquiao then Mayweather should completely SON (man vs. boy style) Pacquiao.

Pacquiao's only chance is the proverbial punchers chance.

And to PBF's credit he pretty much admitted that he wasn't overly happy with his performance. He admits that he needs to work on a few things.

My only complaint w/PBF's performance was his lack of activity. I'm startng to think maybe Floyd is out of his prime. I'm kinda surprised more people havent made mention of this.

Pac can't outskill floyd or ko him imho, but he can feasably win a decision on activity. Mayweather's punch output will have to increase signifigantly to beat pacman on points. i cant see floyd ko'ing pac. he's too conservative, if he didnt go in 4 the kill vs marquez who couldnt hurt him i doubt he tries with pacman.
