Sergio Martinez vs Paul Williams I.

Martinez had an interim title at '54, but knew he wasn't going to get any big fights. He moved up in weight to fight the most avoided man in boxing with no title on the line for $300k.

He lost the fight, but it was a star-making performance and the rest was history.

As an aside: $300k is the same amount of money that loser Andrade turned down to face Charlo. If Andrade had been willing to take risks maybe he would have been a star too.... we'll never know.

            Floyd v Corrales
Calzaghe v Lacy (yeah Lacy gets flack now, but he was favourite)
            Fury v Wilder 2
            Pacquiao v Cotto
            Saunders V Lemieux
            Rungvisai v Gonzalez 2
            Tyson v Spinks
Fury v Wlad (Not exciting but a complete masterclass in negating all of your opponents tools and making them completely useless, considering Wlad was a decade long champ. It was brilliantly done, just not great watch)

Some obviously ones that spring to mind if we’re talking about one world level fighter taking another one to school completely or simply blowing them away.

Theres hundreds really, depending on how far back you want to go.

The best fight would definitely be Corrales-Castillo1 followed by Pacquiao-Marquez1, Morales-Pacquiao1 & Mayweather-Corrales.

Martinez also didn't have a 1.8 million offer on the table. Andrade was full WBO champ and Olympian put on an undercard, not a baby belt holder. Regardless 10 yrs ago the Bigger Charlo could have given Andrade that business for 7 million with a rematch clause. Then, he wouldn't have his wife dissing him on Twitter.

I was going to post this. Absolute beatdown in which Calzaghe was the betting underdog.

Tyson vs. Holyfield I --- Holyfield was the underdog but no one told him. He was utterly unintimidated and gave the rapist a thorough beating.

Canelo vs. GGG I and II --- I think the highly debatable judging in both fights (but the first in particular) makes people forget how good these fights actually were --- really tremendous stuff from both men in both fights.

                      - - Underrated Hector Camacho KDed bigger, stronger southpaw JL Ramirez before spinning him like a top slapping his fanny in between an entertaining master class WBC shutout.

3 years later, older shopworn JL gave Pea his first beating after a flashy AMA Pea start by walking him into JL best punch, El Gancho Izquierda where he lacerated Pea Liver wif Lou Duva screaming like the ol' washerwoman he was that set off a chain of emasculation in the American boxing media when the result was recorded.
