Thurman is the option if Spence/Crawford doesn't get done.

Seriously, people acting like Thurman has no name value or anything. The guy literally has just one loss

Exactly. He's living off his glory days when he beat Porter and Danny. Looked like crap against Lopez and fought Barrios at Barrios first fight at 147 after being KO'd at 140 by a 135lb Gervonta.

And? It's not like he was being a Gary Russell about it the dude had and injury and got surgery.

Like I've said before I would be surprised if Spencer-thurman isnt next. Spencer clearly doesnt want bud.

I prefer 140 and 154 where over the last 5-6 years everybody fought everyone else.

Everyone says that Heavyweights have got a heavier over the years. Well, does that mean all the fighters at other weights just stood still? Hell no! 154 is the new 147. 147 is the new 140. 140 is the new LW division. And that makes sense as all the best fights have been at the NEW WW and LW divisions - 154 and 140.
Well I do agree, it is how the name of the game goes when the top fighters are out there and they see trouble rising from an upcoming guy. They rather not mess with him when the risk isn't worth the reward. Though I'd say Spence had already reached something when he beat Kell Brook and Thurman still wouldn't mess with Spence at all.

Though now it is a situation where Thurman lost what he had but obviously is still a name, yet has really nothing to provide and Spence and Thurman are like, sorry buddy, you aren't worth the trouble now at this point.

So. He's still got to earn it. He should fight Boots and prove he's the number 1 contender.
