We saw against Mayweather Marquez has nothing this high up in weight. Hatton would beat him up really bad. Not shut him out like Mayweather did since Hatton is a come forward and get hit fighter but he would give Marquez a much worse beating.

Hatton is done as far as competing with the elite fighters of his weight class. The "blue print" to beat Hatton is all over the internet...LOL.

Marquez is still a superb technician and counter puncher. I can't see him jumping in without getting clipped a few times and all the pressure he puts on with his bad defense mean he would get clipped a lot.

If Diaz wold have been able to stay in there, JMM had set a record of punches and power punches landed. Hatton is faster than Diaz, but has worse defense. JMM KO11

Marquez could definitely win this one.

It's closer to his natural fighting weight, it's the type of opponet he does so well against (come forward fighters), and Ricky is nowhere near as skilled as Marquez and his defense is utter ****.

I'd pick Marquez by UD. Very similar to the Diaz fight IMO, only going to the cards in favor of Juan Manuel.
