For Mexicans boxing is more than just a sport, it's not like rooting for your favourite sport ball team. I'm saying this because even despite me not being Mexican, but as a fight fan I won't just blindly support someone because he has the same flag as me.

Boxing is an individuals sport, some fighters hold themselves better than others and make a country get behind them better than others. I would argue Canelo has done plenty to make many fans not so fond of him similar to how AJ and Fury get on the wrong side of people.

Like who you want to like, you don't have to root on the basis of skin colour for a start that's a really pathetic motive to be invested in a fight. Don't need to root for a guy from the same country as you, it can just be as simple as liking someone. Pacquiao did it better than anyone else and GGG to a degree did it good with winning fans over. The promotion behind fighters can really do a lot to help get fighters over, but nobody can do that more than the actual fighter can.

Question is why do you care what a fighter is paid, we watch to be entertained not to suck some multi-millionaires **** off cheering him on to earn even more whilst you struggle to pay your bills. Never understood the low IQ sorts who like to brag about how much others earn.

Why do I care about something that doesn't benefit you in any shape or form? Maybe it's knowing the motive, are you that pathetic of a fanboy that you care about a few extra million in the pocket of a multi-millionaire whilst you struggle to deal with day-to-day life. It just makes you look like a complete simpleton, the guy (GGG) you root against is a the type who donates large portions of his gains to family and his neighbourhood whilst Canelo keeps it all to himself or so it would seem more than likely the cartel and whatever corrupt network he is affiliated with have a good slice of what he does. We have a natural talent versus a corrupt cheater.

I am from GGG's home country & I am not a big fan of Canelo, but Canelo is way better boxer than GGG.

Golovkin spent his whole career hiding in one division (160) fighting journeymen & avoiding tough matchups weight classses above. Ward? Nah. Froch? Nah. David Benavidez? Nah. And now he is avoiding touch matchups in his own division too: Jermall Charlo? Nah. Demetrius Andrade? Nah.
At least Canelo had some b@lls to move up in weights from 154 to 175 fighting champions in 160, 168 & 175 weight classes. While GGG never had the courage to do so.

Also some of GGG's wins are questionable: he probably lost to Derevyanchenko & had a draw with Jacobs.

U can say what u want but it’s done and over he lost the rematch and didn’t win the 1st fight. GGG had many other opportunities to cement his legacy against OTHER elite opponents he just decided not to. Canelo>ggg and it’s not even close. Their level of competition and strength of schedule says it all
I’m not defending ggg’s resume. In fact I’m agreeing that it’s not very strong. So again, what does it say about canelo that mostly everyone considers Canelo’s best win to be against a guy with a weak resume or otherwise known as a “can crusher” as you stated.

Funny you mention GGG being robbed against Canelo considering a lot of people thought he lost the fight against Jacobs and he definitely lost against Sergiy.

                      Keep crying.
read my reply to the guy just above this post. It pertains to your comment as well since both of you seem to have limited reading skills and instead of addressing the point I made, you both became defensive females and went a rant about something else.
