Though I’m not sure now, since Usyk was WBO mandatory now that I think about it.
That’s what was confusing me. They usually take turns and it went Povetkin WBA, Pulev IBF and Usyk WBO so it might be the WBA’s turn but Joyce was mandatory before Dubois and Hrgovic were so maybe he’s next. I’m sure there’ll be some ABC shenanigans in the coming weeks.

Does the WBA have a mandatory yet? They were talking Joyce/Usyk when AJ was talking about dropping the title to avoid Usyk (remember that? When all of the Hearniacs said Usyk wasn’t worth his time, and AJ only took challenging fights?”

Dubois is the regular champion so they can call for them to fight I imagine. Fury-Hunter is an eliminator too I believe.
Usyk-Joyce was close. Hearn/Matchroom wanted AJ to drop the belt but to his credit AJ wanted to defend vs Usyk. So many idiots dismissed Usyk purely based on size, most of the more educated posters on here always maintained he was gonna be a problem at HW.
I don't think the WBC or WBA have anything set and Usyk was WBO mandatory. IBF first in line?
Just doing a bit of research then and a few articles call Dubois WBA mandatory but the official WBA news bulletin doesn’t state the Bryan win made him mandatory so you maybe right.
If Fury-Usyk happens, I have a feeling it could get messy and one of the orgs strip him.
