The fighters themselves bare a certain amount of blame for the current situations that continue to plague this storied division.
Marvelous Marvin Hagler went to his opponents backyard in order to get the fights that would bring him to prominence, he took on all comers.
It seems to me that these fighters virtually look for excuses not to fight each other, while weighting to hit the jackpot (a fight with Canelo).
They have to face the facts, and realize that none of them may get to fight Canelo, who may be literally slowing down, aging, and near retirement.
The fight against Bivol proved that Canelo can be beat, and exactly how to do it, the loss has left him with a fractured psyche.
He has shown a propensity to avoid fighters such as Andrade, Charlo, and Benavidez, although they've been calling him out every chance they get.
