Fans are not that ****** and Floyd getting defensive over any little question shows he can't take the pressure/heat that he is now getting. If he would of went about his career like a normal guy this would never of happened. Sure, you wouldn't of made the same amount of money but your legacy probably would be looked at in a different light. Now Floyd is backed in the corner as the smaller man against lets say a Shane Mosley and he is stuck. He has to fight the guy for one, because of money but for two having some sort of legacy, and say he does lose, hes screwed. Floyd only has his undefeated record to fall on and a loss would kill that. he never really made a fan base due to how he acts and he would be fighting for small fractions of money that he fights for now. All in all Floyd brought most of this upon himself.
true story right there. I've mentioned that before. A lot of his lure is him hyping up his phony undefeated record so much. People are paying to see him lose. Because he takes fights he knows he can only win, he feels his undefeated record is safe, and in his eyes, that he hasn't been beat, he's the best. He's like a real life Mason Dixon. He just hasn't met an opponent to challenge him since he handpicks them all and makes sure he doesn't get one that will. I think the public is starting to realize that. Especially with all the weight talk with Marquez as soon as the post interview went in motion.

well, i like Floyd. i think he's great in the ring, but when he invites challenges by saying no one can **** with him, and then gives the fans the finger by not giving us a chance to see how great he is (which most of us think he is) I can't really defend him.

we can assume he owns Cotto, Mosley, and Pac. it's easy for him and his hardcore fans to dismiss these men. Most fans want to see the greatness in the ring, thats all.

All thos e fans booing proves some what that most that paid to see the fight was just to see him lose. They made Marquez look like he had a chance, but floyd didn't want to take any chances and he camed over weight and wouldn't allow anyone to know how big he was for this fight.
