Like I said though the lein was from when Mayweather was one of the highest-paid athletes in all of sports, so $4 million may actually very well have been an accounting oversight. Plus let's not forget it's the IRS we're talking about. It basically sounds like a typical case of the IRS demanding "protection money" (protection from prosecution in this case, as it were).
