I dont feel bad for Floyd at all.
If he was a nicer guy maybe the press would cut him so slack.

I agree with everything you posted here. Floyd should of been bigger and probably wishes he could go back. Now that hes stuck I doubt he can even get a little bit of this back. I guess take a risky fight against Shane and if he somehow wins have a little more class. People would still hate him though and claim Shane is way over the hill, he really is in a lose/lose but he would atleast get more love by the hardcore boxing fans imo. Its kind of sad to think about how his career has gone, since he is so talented. Good chat.

Floyd would gain a lot more fans if he was humble and didn't talk so much ****. He has serious skills but he will never have the type of fan following or adoration that someone like Pacquiao has because of his personality.

No ****** ,Floyd never had a fan base cause he`s black and i can`t wait to hear the "blame everything on whitey comments"lol.Fact is Mosley, Paul williams,tim bradley and numerous other black fighters are nice humble fighters who fight good opposition and are very exciting to watch but yet their fights look like ghosttown.They don`t have a big fanbase.But yet bhighly overated fighters like Kelly Pavlik,Joe Mesi,Ricky Hatton,Mikkel Kessler and fight no one with a pulse Calzage have big fanbases.

You are one ignorant mother fucker. It has nothing to do with race and everything to do with how he acts and how he fights. Yes, this is the sport of boxing but you are not going to gain many fans simply on defensive fighting and the sweet science of boxing. The guys you called overrated like Kessler, Hatton, and Calzaghe come from nations that don't have many fighters so their fan base is going to be large. In America there are more fighters and a guy like Floyd who is constantly talking smack is not going to have a large fan base. Has it ever crossed your mind that Kelly Pavlik has lots of fans because he knocks people out? I doubt you ever thought about it. You also try to use other black boxers to back up your statement yet they really haven't accomplished much that would give the general public something to talk about. You think Tim Bradley wouldn't be embraced if he beat Manny Pacquaio down the line? Hell, Tim is one of the most respected fighters within boxing circles and if he ever gets a huge fight where the casual fan sees him, he would be bigger than Floyd. You need a reality check.
