Sounds like Omar knew his time had come and wanted 1 last fight so he wouldn't have regrets later.
Omar good luck with your future goals.

Yea,kinda absurd isn it! ByHe doesn't even crack the top 10 at 140. Figueroa was nothing more than another punching bag like Rios and has been shot to shiet for like 5yrs now. So not sure how Lipinets can proclaim to be "back" to somewhere he never was or by beating a guy that never established himself at the weight either??

Agreed, for awhile there Mike Alvarado, Brandon Rios, Devon Alexander were some decent stepping stones. Lipinets can jump in there to make all the new blood look good.

This! I was wondering why nobody had mentioned Rougaroo up until you.

I hope we do get Regis Prograis vs Sergei Lipinets! I think will be a great clash of styles. All we can do is wait and see if it happens!

Really no reason for Regis to target Lipinets though should he beat, arguably the 2nd best Jr Welter in Zepeda. Since Sergey is aligned with PBC,I think fights with Subriel,Romero,Russell or even Broner seem more likely and would be just as entertaining imo.

How did they fail to mention that their "eloquent" spokesperson for mental health launched an inconsistent attack on Adrien Broner for having a mental health breakdown whereas he praised Ryan Garcia for having the same breakdown, but ended up sobbing in the ring about his mental health without even sending apology to Broner. Glad Lipinets retired him, He is a POS.

I think Broner is finished from what I understand. Blue Blood is the source
