Canelo threw single shots for most of the fight, and he didn’t throw that many. People getting excited about him landing a decent combo to the body in the middle of the 4th round. In the 9th he went for it, emptied his tank, got destroyed carried Bivol, and by the 12th he would have fallen out of the ring if there were no ropes he was fatigued so much.
This fight was no close, and the fact that it went to a 115-113 scorecard is shameful. The right man won but those close cards were disgusting.
Respect to Bivol for taking the fight up with Canelo despite Canelo thinking he was an easy cherrypick. Bivol's comment post fight that Canelo, considered the biggest star in boxing, only managed to hurt his arm is understandable. Euphoria overwhelmed the man.
Before replying and calling me an idiot, maybe replay the fight without the excitement of watching it in real time. Bivol simply outboxed Canelo in pretty much every round, even though it was closer in some than others.
