No, but he's bigger and his style is actually more of a challenge for Floyd than Marquez's. Marquez tried to out-Mayweather Mayweather. To at least challenge Floyd, you have to be fast and pressure him and even then, it's hard to hit him. Trying to counter him and outbox him will probably never work.

I love both guys but Marquez is a better fighter, just Hatton is a bigger man, natural at the weight etc. I do believe Hatton could have fought more at welter competitively, he looked awful at the Pacman weigh-in, gaunt etc.

Hatton is bigger and his mauling style took Mayweather a few rounds to figure out. Marquez tried to pressure but he too slow and small at the weight. I think Marquez is better.

Hatton was a better foe for Floyd he almost had him down in the first round, and won rounds. You can make the argument that Marquez didnt have to fight floyd and the ref though so some extra credit to Hatton
