No Flipping Way! I had Popeye winning at least 7 rounds.
That extra minute in the 7th(?) round really helped Jack. Someone should get fired for that. like the announcer said, "you had one job!"

You're right about that, the time keeper had one job, and he either botched it or he was trying to help Jack's cause.
For a boxer to lose their undefeated record after pouring his heart out in a high stake's match, has to be crushing to his confidence.
I was also surprised that Jack was able to withstand those vicious uppercuts that Rivera was hitting him with.
There's no way that Jack won that fight, and he has little to no chance of winning a cruiser weight title at this stage in his career.
So those judges didn't really help Jack's chances of winning another title, what they did was hurt Rivera's chances at a future title shot.

I thought I saw it with about 25 seconds to go, but not after that. I'd got up to go to the bathroom and kept wondering why the bell hadn't rang because I hadn't moved.

I should be able to replay that round on DAZN. I'll do that later. I believe the timer was shown on the screen in all the other rounds.
