    Why Floyd isn't p4p # 1 ATM

Floyd didn't beat someone when the weight was equalized. In order to be p4p number 1, you have to make sure that you fight an opponent when the weight handicap is not apparent, or you beat someone when the weight favors the other guy.

Of course, Floyd beat a light weight in a welterweight fight. The handicap was so apparent that the person he beat didn't really matter. I know it was Marquez. But really, if a prime Roy Jones fought Mayweather at light heavyweight would the person he beat really matter? No.

It was a great performance by Floyd. But I don't think it's enough to be p4p number 1.

    Consider this:

Manny's best weight is at 140 and Manny beat the best 140 pounder in the world by 2nd round KO to make him p4p number 1.

Marquez's best weight is at 130 or 135 and he lost a split decision against at the time the best 130 pounder in the world (even if Manny was drained) and KO'd Joel Casamayor (One of the best light weights in the world) and also KO'd Juan Diaz, THE BEST lightweight in the world (until Marquez beat him). That makes him p4p number 2

Mayweather UD's the best lightweight in the world in a welterweight fight.
...You really think he deserves to be called p4p number 1 after a fight like that compared to the other 2 guys who are number 1 and 2?

PBF knows hes not no1 p4p. PBF knows its Pac already. If PBF wants to be p4p no1 he knows hes got to beat Pac. If Cotto beats Pac, well then PBF will have to beat Cotto.

Why hasnt PBF had 3 fights with Cotto already? WHy is Pac the one who is fighting Cotto? No, PBF is not p4p no1. He has the potential to be one day maybe. BUt as of now. No!

      ...Actually you're right.

Why is Pac facing Cotto and Floyd facing JMM...Shouldn't it be the other way around? :P
