The main event will renew boxing's long-standing rivalry of Puerto Rico vs. Mexico as undefeated prospect Luis Feliciano (15-0, 8 KOs) faces off against Mexico's Alejandro Frias (13-6-2, 6 KOs) in an 8-round super lightweight bout.

I wonder if these guys are getting paid.
I ask because I know fighters who Next Gen Boxing have reached out to for this card.
Sounds like you gotta sell tickets and you take home a percentage of the sales profit.
The way they sell it is by telling young fighters that its a good opportunity for them to get exposure.

Luis Feliciano might be a future star, but his match against Alejandro Frias isn't a PPV worthy fight, and the under card is worse.
NEXTGEN Boxing this isn't a higher standard of matchmaking, promotion, or marketing, as far as media visibility for boxers at all levels,
we'll have to see how well it sells.
FITE TV, should be ashamed of themselves selling this mediocre fight card as a PPV event for 19.99, actually that's disgraceful of them.
Luis Feliciano is just one fight back from a 2 1/2 self imposed hiatus in order to allow his contract with Golden Boy Promotions to expire.
This will be his second fight since his return to the ring, and this fight is no more than another get the ring rust off/tune up, for the eventual better opposition fights.
Those fights are still an opponent or two away, and Luis Feliciano isn't no where near a PPV fighter yet, he might have been if he'd have fought until his contract expired.
Apparently there was a problem'(s), that couldn't or wouldn't be resolved between the promoter, and the fighter.
In which the fight decided to sacrifice 2 1/2 years of his boxing career, (a tremendous sacrifice) for any boxer to make at any point of his career, but especially when he hadn't established himself as a star at the time.
He could've had a substantial 20-23 fight record by now, instead he has a poultry 15 fights, and has to make up for lost time, I'm hoping that he can.
I can understand his decision he made, because if your not satisfied with who you work for, or their organization, your not going to give them your best effort, and that's self defeating.
