What to make of these strange fanboys who claim to be interpreting what Fury actually means contrary to his words and actions? They've never met the guy and yet seem to truly believe they know what's going on (similar to the overnight PED experts who appeared in December 2009). I had one guy on here telling me yesterday that the reason Fury has relinquished his Ring title is that he wants to be three times champion without losing a fight - that seems to be some tortuous logic.

Are they simply in denial? Is their personality so entwined with a sportsman who doesn't know they exist that cognitive dissonance is ratcheting up? What's going on?
