Comments Thread For: Broner On Tank-Garcia: 'I Don't Think Ryan Should Ever Get In [The Ring] With Tank'

Adrien Broner doesn't see it ending well for Ryan Garcia if he ever ends up swapping punches with Gervonta "Tank" Davis. The multi-weight division champion from Cincinnati weighed in on the match-up du jour, but unlike some boxing fans, he did not sound all too enthusiastic about it, essentially saying that it would be a clear-cut mismatch in Davis' favor.

Translation: haymon and floyd ordered me to say this propaganda bull jive to do damage control to protect duck davis from his embarrassingly blatant ducking of Garcia. duck davis would get slaughtered by Garcia and that's why ellerbe floyd and duck davis are silent and in hiding.

where the F*** is lying leonard ellerbe lately? duck davis has no fight lined up, they should be going after Garcia but they know duck davis has no chance. duck davis is a fraud coward pretender.

Broner is one of the great minds in boxing. His wise words should be taken seriously by all concerned.

So now Tank and Mayweather are telling Broner to spread the word so they don't have to take on any risks....

Cryan Garcia is not ready for Tank. He holds his chin to high. He will get put to sleep

            Tank absolutely demolishes Garcia.

Tim Bradley had a really good take on the matchup on Mannix's podcast a few weeks ago.

But the fight isn't happening. Maybe at 147 years from now.

Ryan would get beat up and stretched before 6 rounds. HHis defense and footwork are sloppy, and he pulls straight back with his chin in the air. He's an easy KO for Tank.

Considering how Ryan has a very real habit of avoiding punches by throwing his hands out with his chin up and in a straight line backwards?

Yeah, he really shouldn't be trying to fight Tank.

But since he is (he's all talk but he keeps talking so lets say he is), then he's gonna get cracked and he's not getting back up.

Hopefully the odds on Tank-Ryan are as lopsided as the predictions.

Tank is a top talent, impressive speed and power, but he’s struggled to dictate terms at the higher weight classes. Barrios, Cruz, and Rolly won too many rounds against him with different styles; that’s a red flag.

Ryan has the amateur pedigree and has done well in the pro ranks thus far. He takes center ring, keeps good distance, jabs with good speed at length, and counterpunches with a hairpin trigger. Tank would have to KO him or lose a lopsided decision because he’ll down on the cards, I have Garcia winning that matchup.
