I might not mind Usyk beating josh if Fury wanted to fight Usyk. And Josh could fight Wilder and if Josh beats Wilder he can fight Fury. Even if Fury loses to Usyk. You see, a loss dont mean we dont want to see you fight.
Fury runs from Usyk but still holds the WBC belt and can go after the Ring for the 3rd time as only Ali did. Yeah, that's running.

That's like someone in here saying AJ is an overachiever but another person shows his Olympic medal and his gauntlet rise in the heavyweight division.

Remember what I said. If their last name is Campbell, Johnson, etc, they have done nothing but let them have a Central Asian or Eastern European name.

One of the most realistic assessments of AJ's career I've read so far.
Even if he losses to Usyk I'd still like to see him against Fury & Wilder.

How is it warranted to compare AJ to a psychopathic criminal, and two men who failed in the major leagues of there sport? Even if one isn’t a fan of AJ’s, you have to agree that this is a completely asinine view.

Comparing a champion to several non champions is not a good analogy. He won the belts and defended them multiple times over even adding more belts to the collection. He’s damn near hof material, not flame out hype job. Be more respectful

How has Fury run from Usyk? He couldn't have fought Usyk as first Usyk went back to Ukraine and took a break from boxing and 2nd he is obligated to rematch Joshua. Am I missing something?
People suggesting Fury lacks balls sounds ridiculous to me. After the first Wilder fight when he was damn near decapitated what did he do? Step back into the lions dens again when everyone was predicting a Wilder win because Fury has to be perfect for 12 rounds and Wilder ["perhaps the hardest puncher in Boxing history"] only has to be perfect for a split second - remember that line of thinking?

After being stopped by Ruiz, the "adjustment" for AJ in the rematch was more boxing and more movement. For his 2nd fight with Usyk, the talk is that AJ has to leverage his physical advantages and put the Ukrainian on his back foot. I think the former adjustment is easier for AJ. I'm not sure he can just flip a beast switch and impose his physicality on a man who nearly knocked him down in the last round of the 1st fight. I don't think AJ has fully recovered mentally from that embarrassing Ruiz beatdown.

Article is incorrect. AJ is definitely on growth hormone, a lot of it. His entire facial structure has been unnaturally modified and enlarged.

And we all know he has a tues exemption too for other peds

He has announced his retirement rather than announce that he intends to fight the Usyk/Joshua winner. That could be seen as ducking. Personally I don't know as you can't take anything Fury says too seriously.

As for the article, it seems a bit harsh. Lost to Ruiz, this sort of thing happens sometimes, especially in the heavier divisions. He avenged that loss. Lost to Usyk but Usyk is clearly an elite boxer. The problem is boxers get hyped up too much by the media and fans and then get trashed if they lose or even if they win but don't look like Superman in the process.

well, yeah, you can't state anything he says seriously but 2nd, I personally can't see someone who is retired as ducking anyone. You have to be in the game and making proactive choices to fight another fighter other than the fighter everyone wants you to fight in order to qualify as a ducking - imo
