Oh crap I got him confused with Catterall, who is in the weight division just below the one that Zayas is currently fighting at.
Just looked up Jack Culcay's record, he's never been stopped, and went the distant in all 4 of his defeats against one current champion, and 3 ranked fighters.
So upon further analysis B! as you so eloquently put hell yeah! I'm all in for Xander versus Jack, winning that fight would prove that he's ready for a shot at the title.
Jack Culcay would be a real stern test for Xander, remember your talking about 14 fight pro against 30 fight pro's, but I still think that Xander can beat them all with some wear, and tear to show for it.
Oh by the way I do stand corrected, as you can see I'm not infallible, it's not that easy remembering every name, weight, and record of so many fighters, thanks for the correction.

Obviously you haven't seen his fights and you know very little of what a world champion potential prospect looks like. This kid is the REAL DEAL!!!

HeyDeebo, I get how you feel about being Verdejo being all hype BUT he wasn't. Verdejo had all the tools and skills to improve his craft and be a world champion BUT he didn't take his profession seriously if you want to reach that level. As you can see how his personal life is in turmoil BUT he definitely wasn't a hype job.

Adrien Broner didn't take his career seriously and his personal life is a mess. Yet he was a four weight world champion.

Verdejo didn't accomplish jack **** - he got exposed by a completely mediocre boxer in Lozada.

Because he was all hype. Just like Xayas.

I missed this one sorry for the delay. Broner stopped taking his career seriously after he became champion not before and unfortunately that's when it changed his career. Verdujo had the tools and could have been a contender BUT didn't take the profession seriously. Zayas as you see is a contender and when he becomes a champion which everyone in the boxing world expects him to become your analysis will be jack****! Deuces
