Parker couldn't even hurt soft family man Junior FA who was quite brutally KO'd by Lucas Browne. I know I know. Styles and triangles etc. BUT STILL.

I don't know, Parker doesn't seem like he has the drive and ambition anymore, like his heart isn't in it fully, just going through the motions. How many times did he let Del Boy off the hook there?

At the same time not sure that Joyce stops him either but I think he can win a moderately clear decision.

I definitely think Parker should be favorite in this fight. Not saying he beats Joyce easily but we have no idea if Joyce is any good. He beat Dubois who hasn't proven anything. I'm rooting for Joyce but may the best man win!!!!

If Parker's engine and motivation match his words it might be a tough night for Joyce. Also if he sticks and moves it will be tough for Joyce. But if Parker allows Joyce to keep walking him down with the off-speed jab and the occasional surprise big punch ... this could turn into a war. I think Parker should be favored based on big fight experience, but this is a very hard fight to predict. Parker has shown the occasional big punch with Whyte and Chisora. It's still not known if Joyce can take big punches from top five-type fighters at HW. This fight is a bettors nightmare.

I expect Parker to finally show some pep, dog, and desire and go ahead and mount some serious offense in this fight. I don't think Joyce can take 12 rounds of ferocious. But Parker better not get caught coming in aggressive. He could eat a punch that leaves him out-of-sorts for large portions of the fight .... and lose.

I think Joyce will need to show more urgency offensively and also more care and ability defensively ... or he may be caught with a punch that effectively derails this fight for him too.

Whoever is sharper and has more cardio to go hard for more of the rounds has an excellent chance to win this. Much will be revealed ...

PS - If neither guy has trained up to go hard, fast, and long ... they may both show themselves as not able to be top five. Also, defense matters much!

I think Parker is a quality person, but he’s not the most exciting or consistent fighter. JJ seems to be more entertaining to watch. I mean I want all fighters at their best and may the best man win.
I think JJ will be able to land his jab and walk down Parker which is his strength. Parker is tough and can easily go the distance. Still Parker’s physique has looked more Dad bod as of late and he’s not that old, a tank top tan doesn’t help.
I’d love to see Parker come in great shape and be able to press from the start. Take it to JJ. That would make for the best fight. I don’t want to see him lay back and possibly come on once it’s too late.
I expect Parker to be on the back foot too much of the night to get much done. We will see.
