When I first saw the knockdown I thought the stoppage was good but after seeing the replays, with the close up camera shots, it looked like a premature stoppage. Zara’s didn’t look as good as I expected. He seemed way too impatient. Maybe it’s youthful recklessness. I’m not sure. Lots of low blows from him also. I’m interested to see how he progresses.Comment

Lopez is a sharp shooter, exactly the kind of fighter that needs to spar a lot in order to maintain his sharpness, accuracy and timing. Why the **** would he choose to not spar much. If he was 35 years old or older and had a long arduous career then I’d expect them to cut back on the sparring. I get the feeling Lopez isn’t going to be able to maintain his mental/ emotional equilibrium long enough to become great. I’m unsure of his ability to keep it together…Comment

Bob wants to put in events and get money from the PR crowd. He knows how to work that fan base… so he’ll keep hyping up PR fighters who haven’t done anything to warrant it to create buzz.
No disrespect to PR fans or fighters, but Xayas ain’t winning a world title. Putting him in a comain again such a weak opponent as a showcase really says it all…. That was a Friday Night Fights/Showbox Level match. The kid is just hype…. Like TRs other favorite Ali’s grandson.Last edited by paulf; 08-13-2022, 10:09 PM.Comment
