Jaime Munguia vs John Ryder in "advanced negotiations"

So weird. I like the fight but I think Ryder wins. Munguia passed up titles shots against Andrade and Charlo and is in a high risk, low reward fight now.

Ryder is decent, but beatable. He's a southpaw pressure fighter, so Munguia won't have to chase him. Fortunately for Ryder, Munguia is also beatable. It should be an action fight.

He lost to Rocky Fielding though.

Calculated risk for Munguia. Ryder is shorter and doesn't have power. He fights one way and will be there for Munguia to hit. The only thing he has for Ryder is that he has been fighting heavy for a while.

It should be a fun fight

If it's at 168, Munguia could be in a world of hurt

Stopped reading at "Ryder doesn't have power".

Officially. Officially he "lost" to Callum Smith as well.

Ryder would have to 10-2 Munguia to get a decision on the cards.

                  Seems like a pointless fight

Munguia hasn't had a meaningful fight since Beefy Smith.
