mayweather can't even knock out a guy who

has never fought above 135 pounds and went up two weight divisions. He dominated the guy, schooled him but didn't finish him. It's official, he lacks that killer instinct. He's contempt with just beating the guy up instead of k.o'ing him, almost as if he feels sorry for his opponent.

I was drunk and screaming at the tv.. Mayweather could have ended that fight easily.

Mayweather is like Wladimir in the sense that he only lets loose when he has to.

He doesn't feel sorry for his opponents the problem is Mayweather just won't take any risk.

Floyd could've ended that fight whenever he decided it would end.

Simple. He just wanted to put on a boxing clinic for the cynics and give those who paid to watch their money's worth.

Your right. I think he tried too KO him but knew he would have to take unnecessary risk. This fight was a preview of we will see if Mayweather fights Pac. it shouldn't happen but money talks and everyone wants to see it and when it does happen this same outcome will occur. EVERYONE will talk about weight and that it wasn't fair and Pac was too small, too slow, not good enough etc etc etc not to mention others will say he dodged Mosley or Cotto.

Maybe some will start to understand the double ended sword Mayweather is always on. maybe people we understand how great mayweather is... who knows... IMO he did need that KO to make a real statement but JMM was getting beat bad enough though.

I actually agree with that, i think a few reasons he lets fight drag on is so people feel like they get their moneys worth so they have more chance of buying a longer lasting fight....also he wants 2 dominate a person and show he can do it all night long...

Still i think he should of just finished him in round 10-12....he could of done it anytime if he wanted to.....

Absolutely. Now it's time for Mayweather to fight real comp so some people can be certain of his skills.

True. He actually likes Marquez enough to give him the honor of pleasing his fans as well. Juan put up a gallant effort.

I don't know man.. you got to watch out for marquez, he was really slow and predictable tonight, but he does have a killer instinct, and can surprise you at any moment.

But honestly, if it wasn't for the atmosphere, this fight would have been boring as hell....
