Any fighter with above average power who can circle around his big telegraphed hooks will beat him and that is why Canelo should never be considered an ATG.

Its funny how people talk how much he 'improved' since Floyd yet he actually looked like a better fighter back then. Faster, far more variety in his offense, and more output. These days he just throws predictable telegraphed hooks looking for the knock out. Its actually surprising how much he has regressed as a boxer, regardless of how many belts he has cherry picked from avg fighters.

Keep hating on canelo for no good reason that's all you guys are good for. He'll continue to bank off you clowns.
I don't see it, it looks more like the beginning of the end. BJS, Plant, and Bivol all made him appear normal and slow by using movement, and attacking at angles. The difference in the outcome is that neither BJS nor Plant possess the power to keep Cinnabon from bull rushing them or walking them down in the later rounds in order to get off his short bursts of power punches, which he uses as a last resort to convince the judges that he's winning rounds or hopefully break his opponent's will to exchange. He can only do this with competition that don't carry sufficient power to nullifying this lazy, plodding, flat-footed style. This is the reason that he chose Plant, BJS, Yildildrum, and even Bivol. He looked at Bivol's number of KOs and thought that he could use the same approach as he uses on the rest. This is also the reason that he avoids Charlo, Andrade, Benavidez, and others that not only have footwork for attacking and defensive skills, but also are a threat to punish him with power shots from different levels and angles. The reason I believe the end is near is that he can't avoid these types of fighters much longer, especially after losing to Bivol again in May. Hell, he may even lose to GGG, he was in Bivol's training camp during the first fight, I'm sure he saw the weaknesses that Bivol exploited, and the move up in weight could make him even more powerful. At this point, he doesn't have to worry about Canelo's speed because he only throws power punches, and he only does it for short intervals.

ggg is canelos type, old slow 40 year year old. he will look the best he has looked in years because hes facing a slow stationary target. he prepared 100 percent against bivol but when someone is young, prime and moves a bit canelo looks like a ****ing bum

I never said anything about who you picked. I brought rationality to your madness. Nothing more.

Bivol is not a great fighter. Lennox Lewis proved himself a great fighter. Marvin Hagler proved himself a great fighter. This was done with numerous wins over good, very good and great fighters. They built their resumes over time to give meaning to the word "Great". It isn't there to be thrown around for just anybody. You have to prove it. Bivol is good. Whether he proves himself to be a great remains to be seen. But as of now, he isn't even close to being.

Joe Smith is great to you? Joe is a basic brawler with little to no real skill. He's decent and no more. A fringe level fighter. Her has never beaten a good world class fighter or better in his life. And no, he isn't a two time champion. He isn't even a real one time champion as he was dominated by Vlasov but he was ripped off.

We're not ranking their amateur career with their professional one. You can be a great amateur but a bad pro. You could have been a bad amateur but a good pro. They're different worlds. As a pro Bivol has 1 good win over Canelo. A few of the others are decent fringe level wins. But no more.

By the time Canelo had matured in the pros, he was at LM. He was only at 140/147 due to being so young and undeveloped. Every fighter is smaller when so young. So if you want to claim Canelo was the smaller fighter against his opposition because he started pro when others were in the amateurs, all you have to do is look at which weights those opponents were when they were the same age as Canelo. Not so small now is he? It's a ridiculous excuse without logic. Only a ****** person would argue it.

Canelo fought Mayweather and was dominated. You don't get credit for being beaten. If that was the case, every fighter would get the same credit as Canelo and be ranked the same way as he is. Are they? Of course not.

Cotto was finished and much the smaller man. The last time Cotto had a world class win was years beforehand and at Welter against Clottey. The win meant nothing.

Canelo lost against Lara but again, another robbery.

Canelo lost both Golovkin fights but got gifts both times.

Canelo ducked Saunders for years as he was "A boring style", which is code for a style he doesn't like fighting. Just a few months before Billy had his fight with Coceres, Canelo still wanted nothing to do with him. But after watching him have an off night. all of a sudden, he's there like stink on shlt. Canelo likes them when they're out of form and vulnerable before taking them on. When they're on their game, he runs away. That's not a fighter looking for the best. That's a coward who makes sure never to fight the best because he's waiting until they're weakened or sabotaged by one of his contracts to make sure the fight is taken out of them before he gets into a ring with them. However, it was a close fight before a freak shot did Saunders' eye in. Canelo was getting frustrated just before the shot and swinging wild punches and missing like an idiot. Had the eye not gone, Canelo was looking at another loss and robbery.

Kovalev was shot. Then he put even more crippling guarantees in the contract to make sure Kovalev stood no chance of winning. But he nearly did. He just gassed out too much nearer the end as the crippling circumstances he had placed on his came into play.

Canelo was dominated by Bivol and lost.

Not really a resume worth talking about when you lift back the curtain is it? Many fighters have clearly better resumes than Canelo. Canelo only has two good wins in Saunders and Jacobs. The rest were either robberies, due to them being shot, smaller, or completely f3cked over and sabotaged to take the fight out of them.

Where did i mention Canelo ducking anyone in my previous post? You're arguing something i didn't even mention.

You think there are fighters who haven't been in the ring with the kind of fighters Canelo has win or lose? Nonito Donaire has. And he did so when they weren't crippled most of the time. AJ has. There's low level fighters who have pretty much fought everyone. They didn't win them, but they got in the ring with them. It's the same with Canelo. He got in the ring with them, but lost.

Bivol wouldn't come close to knocking out a prime Golovkin. Who has Bivol knocked out that was any good?
Bivol koed Barrera and that was good scalp. I agree with you Bivol isnt great yet but he has all tools to be the one
