I hope so. What I’m worried about most is if he lost any important muscle mass during his time off; that could set him back even further than anticipated and if there’s one thing that Loma doesn’t have enough of right now, it’s time.

Isaac Cruz would be the most interesting choice, but it might just be a little too risky to face someone that aggressive and dangerous; he’s also booked this September. I would’ve suggested JoJo Diaz or William Zepeda as alternatives, but as it turns out they’re supposedly scheduled to fight each other in November.

Then there’s an Argentinian called Lemos who’s the #1 IBF contender; beating that guy would make him the number one contender in 3 of the four orgs and could really force himself into contention.
