    Not so sweet Sugar Shane!

So there was some uncomfortable pushing and shoving and following what in my opinion was a hell of a skills exhibition of Floyd Mayweather against the more then credible Juan Manuel Marquez.

It was a great fight for Floyd, especially returning from a 2 year lay off with. Come on there was talk of a no name tune up for floyd but he takes Marquez and shows bad boy skills, you cannot hate on that!

Now, point of this thread bieng, Sugar Shane i have always said and you struggle to find anyone who knows him or of Shane that doesn't agree that Shane is a strait up, nice and gentlemanly guy.

Now we know Shane is a fighter, so if he wants a fight bad which we know he does, hes been inactive for almost a year and hes getting a little anxious bout getting these big fights while hes on his game and still fighting like hes a young man, he doesn't wanna get old overnight.. But once in a while i think a professional prizefighter is allowed to get a little mean and be confrontational.

But regardless of that immediately post fight was not the time, It was my opinion immediately after the fight and i read the same opinion from floyd himself in interviews now also, but the whole reason Sugar Shane is in the ring, he is a shareholder in Golden Boy promotions. Floyd doesnt have any part in co promoting Shanes fights so you wont and dont catch Mayweather butting in on Shane's interviews.. What it is, is that Shane is in the ring for professional reasons, hes there to be professional.. and even if Kellerman was still to have gotten shane in it would have been quite fine to have the same old Shane Mosely chill out, sit back and have a bit of back and forth, a couple of words, dont pressure too hard there is a time and a place which wasnt putting pressure on floyd while hes on the mic after twleve rounds of boxing.. What was gonna happen? was it gonna kick off and shane be like.. yeah floyds got nothing he didnt want it, the dude just fought twelve rounds, you think he wanna get in confrontation like hes gonna do another twelve with you right now Shane?
And when you got BHOP a hero of mine and a guy i love for the controversy he brings with him, thats some real intimidating ishhh!

Frankly the people who missed out were the fans, it was floyds moment and i wanted to know what was up, whats next? lets talk clearly and calmly about shane and pac fights.. The possibility that Floyd could fight shane before the cotto pac winner is something to be discussed. shane needs something for december/January really and if floyd only takes a short break and stays in shape like you know he always does, this fight is possible for both guys and with cotto-pac happening mid november its a possiblility for shane-floyd winner to fight cotto or pac without anyone having to wait around much or having to suffer further inactivity. and plus when you fighting ppv's and making big money you can wait around for that.

But you know, like i already say bad timing and unneccessary to have put that pressure on Floyd while he was on the mic post fight. treat fighters how you want to be treated yourself, i know triple H was behind Floyd but this aint wrestling, you wont see floyd in shanes next fight running in to interfere with shanes interview so its only fair leave it tonight and if your to get the fight offer him something as a businessman to secure yourself the fight.

Everyone should already know about the beef between Bob Arum and Floyd Mayweather, Bob Arums top rank inc promotes pacquiao and very well, and with bad blood with Floyd stemming from when floyd split with Arum, it poses difficulties and potential ego clashes when it comes to monetary negotiations for a Mayweather - Pacquiao bout.

So offer a good deal, sooth floyds pocket and ego and offer him the 60% of the purse, or let the winner take the 60 and the looser take the 40 for a proposed shane- floyd fight. Its all money shane and you got an ego too but your not making anywhere near that money in bouts witt the likes of clottey or cintron which are genuine keep busy fights against genuine welters, and frankly as far as clottey goes, always a dangerous fight where the risk/reward ratio just doesnt come off the page to you.

This is the fight shane, so chase it up but the only pops i have for you today is this, if anything is proven with floyd he has a particular thing about facing the guys that called him out, especially on air, on HBO.. Oscar, Hatton, Marquez all said it, you got that in during FLOYD's interview so its out there now, its been said. I think its going to work.

Didn't read the whole thing, just about hald but got your point.

But at 38,year long layoff he obviously is just lookin for a big money fight. Can't blame him weather or not it was classy what he did.He did sisrespect Mayweather a bit there but they both were at it.That's what they do.
      That is good for boxing.
