Why Did Andy Ruiz Get Rid Of Manny Robles?

Manny told Andy he needed to train consistently to fight at the top level. Andy could not live up to that and the Ruiz family needed an excuse for the loss to Joshua. I am sure Robles wanted to go public about Andy's lack of discipline before the rematch but you can't do that or you give your opponent more confidence. By firing Robles it made it appear there was something Robles wasn't doing.
It also appeared Andy's father wanted Robles to keep Andy in line. Stop hanging out late with all his friends and acquaintances. Stop parting. Robles said that was not his job to do. He said that his job is in the ring but Andy needs to show up at the gym.
I believe Andy wanted a gym like Reynoso had where there are guys that are disciplined and show up. Canelo... There was a team atmosphere which was probably missing with Robles.
Andy could not accept that he has limitations like most fighters and Robles pointed those out to him. Andy could probably not accept that and wanted to try a new trainer to hear something different. After working with Reynoso he probably heard some of the same things from him because he left that gym also. I also believe that Reynoso didn't have enough time for Andy. Canelo is the star in that gym.
I have seen training videos with Robles and other trainers. Andy just doesn't have that fire in his eyes like he did working with Robles. Maybe the wealthy Andy will never the same in the ring as the poor Andy.
It should be no surprise Ruiz left Robles. Look at Wilder blaming Breland for his loss. It wasn't Breland, it was just Wilder could not accept the truth in someone pointing out his limitations. Same with Joshua. McCracken knows Joshua better than anyone. Why would you fire him? Because just like Ruiz and Wilder, Joshua could not accept his limitations.
