Its either going to be the start of the end of Lomas career OR a Shakur is gonna get taken to school. I give Stevenson the edge cause Lomas been out for a long time now, 60/40.

Arum ruined Loma's career by not inserting a rematch clause with Lopez. Hearn, with all the bla-bla-bla criticism he get, would never have allowed that. Rightly so - you protect your champion. Always. Arum should retire and stop wasting talent, especially so rare and unique as Loma and Crawford.

It's interesting how Arum is not wanting to talk about Garcia. It's not that I think that he should be. But when Top Rank fighters had all the belts, and they were angling for Loma vs Lopez, Arum was happy to talk about Garcia, claiming that he was a big fight, and then proceeded to belittle Haney as a pointless fight. Now that Haney has all the belts, suddenly he can't talk about Garcia no more ? Because he knows Haney's the man now, and before he can make that Loma, Stevenson fight, he has get the belts away from Haney. The prospect of that has Bob ****ting himself lol. He's praying Devin doesn't spoil his plans

Indeed. That's why the fight is intriguing.

Shakur is so good at fighting at his range. I don’t think he has a ton of fans style or personality wise but he’s great at what he does. Hard to imagine Loma being able to turn and land at angles on him consistently.
I’d have Shakur -140 or something. I mean you never know how judges will see a close fight. Still it may not be so action packed.
It’d be great if Loma turned back the clock and won. It would be a testament to experience and craftiness. Course if Shakur was willing to push ‘S and get a big KO, TKO, that would go a long way for him to be the stat he wants to be.
I don’t think he has the style or personality to be big with the fans. Winning all his fights may be the only way for him to be something.

If Loma is still the force he was then this is the hardest fight for Stevenson 130-135. Shakur would school Davis and Garcia, and I just see him as more talented than Haney although that fight would be reasonably competitive.

A great technical fight that would be.

Bob Arum still going strong. If these were the times of Adam and Methuselah, I think Bob would make 900 years no problem. God bless him.

Hope he doesn't cheat the fighters in Top Rank though.

Stevenson has no punching power. It'll be hard for him to keep Loma from doing his thing. Teo got Loma's respect but Stevenson will not get that.
