True to a point, but if you claim you're the best ww out there, you have to go through PWill, and my statement goes to Mosley, Cotto and Berto as well.

For all intents and purposes, Floyd did his job well last night. He rediscovered his jab too, which was missing for some time now. The only thing that's seems amissed from last night's fight was a true tough ww atop the ring to showcase Floyd's greatness...

Much respect to Floyd no matter what anybody says about him. He's a GREAT boxer. However, someone of you are ****** comparing Mayweather's performance against Marquez to Pacquiao's.

1.) Marquez had to go up in weight--which slowed his arse down. He's natural Super-feather/Lightweight. He already looked slow against Juan Diaz and Casamayor and he was never a big puncher to begin wtih so adding muscle only made him even slower.

2.) Mayweather didnt make 144--instead he weighed in 146--he didn't push himself hard enough or never planned to make weight. That's the truth. What's the result? A bigger, stronger, faster fighter-- facing a slower, weaker opponent.

The result probably wouldn't have changed had the playing field been even but atleast it would've been more interesting to watch. Mayweather had all the advantages in this fight.

he never was faster than floyd at any weight. IN reality this was the same JMM you saw vs Diaz with 2 or 3 more lbs. The difference is Floyd isn't going to bumrush him which eliminates his speed advantage.
Sorry, I'm just a little steamed, Mayweather could have gotten Marquez out of there at any point, should have gotten him out of there at any point, and instead pot shotted his way to a decision against a guy with no hope.

That's not the point. going up in weight usually makes fighters even slower. I don't think the outcome would've changed but it probably would've made things more competitve had Floyd come down more.
