it wasn't a good stoppage and that is on the Ref, it had nothing to do with Russell, no Russell did not need to be saved or all these Idiotic things that some Loser with Multiple Accounts on here is claiming. People talking as if this was the 11th Round and Russell was way down on the Cards. Russell was winning BUT Barthelmy was showing more effort and aggressiveness than he typically does so it was competitive at times

I'm all for running it back because yes the Ref did indeed rob Russell of showcasing his ability and he robbed the fans. You don't call it after one Knockdown, now if that was the 3rd time he was dropped then yeah call it but it was the first Knockdown

Again taking NOTHING away from Russell, he timed that beautifully it was a good punch

I thought the stoppage was bad. I agree 1000000000000%!with Bathelemy’s trainer that the ref robbed fans, Bathelemy and Russell.

Russell looked like he was about to turn the tide against a rugged vet and get a win. Instead he gets a tainted ko win that allows imbeciles and haters to criticize him for something that wasn’t his doing in any way.

I put it on Rances for not keeping himself protected at all times. He's never gotten flushed like that.

My point is, people saying "worst robbery" and crap...no. Herrera/Hinojosa. Guy evades like the Matrix, making the guy miss, but ref stops it. THAT is "worst robbery".

All the reasons a ref would stop a fight after a count... wobbly, doesn't respond to commands, blank stare, none of that. He was ready to go back in.

It was a crappy stoppage no doubt but I think the end result would of been the same if they let it go. Not worth wasting energy on this.

That ref, his name, and his mannerisms in the ring were off in my view. Don't know how some of you haven't called him an alien as yet.

This narrative that, oh, he would have stopped him anyway?! I saw no indication of an inevitable win by Russell prior to the KD . It was a competitive fight, in which Barthalemy rocked him a couple times.

Also, I've seen many times where a boxer picked himself off the canvas, in WORSE shape than Baryhalemy-and wind up WINNING the fight, even by knockout
