Benavidez is terrible

Honestly, the first time I've seen a full fight of his. Extremely unimpressed.

Giving up his height getting low (basic nono), throwing his hands up after getting punched (why lol), complacent, low tempo.

He could be pretty good, but he's got so many deeply ingrained flaws, not sure there is much left for him except being some kind of half-ass gatekeeper.

I had it 4 rounds to 8. Benavidez didn't look bad, but he didn't look good either. I agree that a draw was a terrible card haha.

Benevidez looked horrible in his previous fight, also. I swear he used to be a much better fighter a long time ago. Seems like he’s trying to emulate his younger bro’s, David’s style but but he doesn’t have the same size advantages and other qualities that his younger bro has. Jose looks like he’s really regressed.
