Marquez is Still the #2 P4P Fighter in the World...

And Manny's still #1. Floyd proved nothing in this fight. He was two weight classes larger than Marquez. Until he's involved in a relevant WELTERWEIGHT fight, he does not make any impact on the P4P ratings.

Give Mayweather his credit! He whooped Marquez because he was just much better, he made Marquez miss the entire night. Did JMM look p4p #2 next to Floyd? NOOOO!!! Mayweather was rusty and still put on a hell of a performance. Let him enjoy his victory without being so judgemental!!

Hopkins moved up when he beat Winky in the same situation. Fact is JMM fought so Floyd should get all the credit in the world. DLH looked worse vs Pac and Pac gets credit for that win

Honestly, Marquez look like a midget David battling a super-sized Goliath. So, I agree this fight has no bearing to the Pound per Pound Listing.

Yes, JMM is still P4P number 2. Floyd is 1st with Pacman in a respectable 3rd

Clearly he is. This fight ment nothing in the big picture. It was a freakshow put on to make Floyd look good. So he made a midget put on a ton of weight to come and fight him even though Marquez looked like he was fighting under water against Diaz in his last fight because of less weight then he was forced to raise to in this fight. It was a no lose from Juan. Nobody gave him a shot in hell to win because of the weight and overall size difference, so it doesnt hurt his P4P standing. Floyd also wont gain anything from the win. Fight a guy even close to your own weight and you will get respect. But you wont.
