You're right, partially. Trainers don't teach a novice to land a left hook down the middle, masters level only. Boxing is about angles dear boy and the perfect left hook lands on the supreme angle. There is a ko nerve that runs along your top lip (or is it the bottom I forget lol). I walked the walk so I can talk the talk and the left hook is my best shot.

Tommy had as close as you can get to a perfect left hook. I think some people are born with the natural ability to throw that punch with lethality like that. Of course they hone and sharpen the skill but his was a thing of beauty.
