Comments Thread For: Jake Paul vs. Hasim Rahman Jr. Canceled Due To Weight Issues

The whole card has been cancelled. I’d like to know who decided to cancel the fight. Jake Paul was seemingly willing to allow Rahman to weigh in at 205, so the fight would’ve been in the heavyweight division. Did Jake change his mind or did Rahman get cold feet, fearing he would get beat by a small Cruiserweight youtuber who only has 5 fights with old, shot MMA fighters?? This would have been a great opportunity for Rahman. He would’ve had many advantages over Jake Paul. Which guy pulled out of this fight?Comment

If Rahman can't cut the mustard, cut him out make Serrano the headliner or something. Giving a fatman a lifejacket in a sport when the grimp reaper is the 4th man in the ring is a piss poor precedent.
I looked at your post history; because yeah I do that, and you appear to not like Cleneloterol =---> like myself.
So like Clenny is having a hard time making weight against GGG and the commission gives him another 5 pounds so he can be like 173 against GGG's 168, you're going to be happy with that? Thought so.Comment

Good. I'm tired of this clown and his circus act. This was on Paul for putting in that damn dehydration clause. How the hell did he expect Rahman to cut that much weight without hurting himself!? If Paul wants a challenge I'll step in as a replacement.Comment

”Jake Paul, YouTuber turned boxer, takes on BoxingScene’s own forum poster, Charlie Zelenoff.”
Honestly, couldn’t be any worse that what we’ve already witnessed.Comment

He fought at 211 lbs and then 215 lbs a few years ago. If he was at 270 lbs, then that shows he’s an undisciplined guy. He fought at 215 lbs less than a year ago (August 2021) and he won via TKO. Many non-athletes that are much older than him are able to maintain a good degree of fitness and maintain their weight and body composition (muscle vs fat ratio) into their later years. I know a few people that have done it and that continue to do it into their 50’s and 60’s at minimum. I understand the urge to overindulge but I question a person’s character and discipline when they can’t maintain a reasonable, moderate weight, especially a pro athlete.Comment
