I have to hand it to him, this guy plays the heel quite well. As much as I want to ignore him, I find myself hoping Rahman knocks him TFO.

His brother went distance with floyd, so you never know. If he beats rahman, then he might be favourite against fury?

Boxing organizations are rotten just like politics in US if a Youtube celebrity can make big purses with so few fights. Maybe America is more impressed with flash & flair than guys who paid their dues.

I'm ambivalent about this guy. Good for him that he's making big money by exploiting the current system that is the sport of boxing. At the same time it's frustrating when broadcasters use their budgets and time slots for his fights because that means dedicated pro boxers are being displaced from earning opportunities and career-building exposure. Ultimately it's boxing own dang fault. It just does not consistently offer compelling fights that mean anything, and so most fans (especially casual ones) are drawn to these celebrity-centric matchups that offer at least a twisted sense of intrigue. Conversely there's no attraction whatsoever when boxing promoters hold these ridiculous in-house, showcase mismatches, especially as PPV events. Jake Paul is astute enough to leverage his notoriety while choosing opponents with just enough skill levels and size to create the illusion of competition. And as he gains experience, he raises the bar judiciously to siphon more money from fans and detractors.
