I've been watching some of Andy Cruz's amateur fights, and I think he's the best amateur fighter I've ever seen. His head movement, footwork, skill, and counter-punching ability are all excellent. He's a generational talent.
I have no doubt he would win a world title if he went pro. I'd even give him a chance to win a world title in 10 or fewer pro fights. He's THAT good.
Which is why it sucks so much that he unsuccessfully tried to defect from Cuba and now is banned from going pro.
