This is odd...and about the May/DLH fight...DLH did well at the beginning due to his size, experience, speed and mostly jab. However, Mayweather settled in and began to render DLH less effective. DLH wasn't blown out, he was simply outboxed as the fight went on and couldn't do much to Floyd.
The fact that it was a pro DLH crowd and he wasn't "expected" to win, the fact that he was competitive and had some end of round rally/flurries to try to steal the round made it closer. In reality, he wasn't as effective as he wanted to be as the fight went on.Comment

I think this is mutual respect from both guys who fought each other. I thought Oscar won the first six rounds of the fight if not seven rounds. Then either because Floyd made the adjustments or Oscar too his foot off the throttle, Floyd definitely dominated the second half of the fight. A draw would have been a better decision in this fight. Floyd DID NOT dominate Oscar the whole fight. 5 rounds at best.
Whatever the intentions of Oscar's comments and compliments about Floyd, let's see how Floyd responds. That will be telling.Comment
