He's just taking inspiration from Ryan Garcia. Pay him no mind.

Anyway...there's a pattern with some of these guys. They want to fight whoever is currently in the "media eye" - not necessarily who will help get them more titles.

We get it - prizefighters, and that's fine. But at some point, why not just keep doing showcase fights against guys who are readily available until someone wants your belt?

Because right now...seems very few people want Charlo's belt but him. Which is strange.

At least Charlo explains in this line here, so respect for that:

If Mall picks a fighter he plans to fight - you don't know what you are going to get. If Mell picks a fighter he plans to fight, you can guarantee that's who he will fight. Mall seeks to be just a good champion, Mell seeks to be great. There is no way that Mell is not a top 10 PFP fighter. One of my favorites and became that way every single time he fought everyone in his way. I still consider him unbeaten - I thought he edged Harrison the first time. He is smart because he raises his game in rematches knocks the guys out.

The same mandatory he’s already ducked once? Boxing fans. Why in the world would a Charlo be scared of Andrade? Didn’t he already duck the little brother?

This is why I consider Jermell infinitely better and easily a top 10 PFP fighter and one of my 5 favorite fighters in Boxing. He fights everyone and knocks out guys in rematches and unifies titles. If he was at 160 he would have fought all the top fighters at 160 by now. While other fighters want to or don't want to unify, Mell has already been there and done that. Everyone should put some respect on Mell. Not so much for Mall.

I hear you. In the Harrison rematch, Jermell kept his composure even though Tony switched the gameplan and brought the fight to Jermell.

Andrade is acceptable and Benavidez he just talking he really don’t want that smoke nor do anyone else. I wouldn’t be surprised if ask to fight Joe ***** trying to slip Oscar Gay La Hoya in. These boys have serious issues!
